The Russell K Red 50’s are stunning compact rear-ported loudspeakers. As always, judgements are subjective both in terms of taste and system matching, but these are ‘up there’ as some of the best available at their size and price level.
Despite their clarity and dynamics, these have proved friendly to both a wide range of partnering equipment and to different listening rooms. The finish options now include a lower cost version, ‘Black 50’ in black textured paint.
