Hell’s teeth, it’s almost March!

If we’re going to do a February Newsletter, best we get it out in February!

First item is our Rega Solis and Mercury launch event coming up in late March. To avoid too much of a sense of deja-vu, we’ll use a different image to the one used last month 🙂 Coincidentally, the picture is a link to the booking page for our Rega event on Friday 27th March. This is an opportunity to hear some delectable electronics and meet Ashton Wagner, the young American designer responsible for them.

We will have various systems set up to showcase these items plus the new Planar 6RS turntable. For CD we will have both solid state and valve versions of the high end Rega Isis CD player. For records, we‘ll have a Planar 10, the new AOS and existing Aura Phono stages along with the aforementioned Planar 6RS.

As ever, we aim to make things fun and will supply food and drink throughout the day. Two sessions, one late morning and the other mid to late afternoon. Feel free to bring records and CDs.

QUAD 3 CDT finally breaks cover

We finally have our demonstration example of the new QUAD 3 CDT. As expected, it looks and feels very nicely built and first impressions are very favourable.

Priced at £599, it’s less expensive than you might expect for a quality player. This is partially explained by it being a transport that utilises the in-built digital input in the matching QUAD 3 amplifier.

LunA DC Power Supply from Vertere

The LunA dedicated Linear DC supply has been developed to ensure that all DG models — DG-1, DG-1S and DG-X — as well as the Tempo motor drive operate at their absolute optimum. The result is breathtaking performance, with enhanced dynamics, greater clarity and a more tangible sense of presence.

And our hands-on experience shows that it really does achieve everything that it’s supposed to.

Special offer in late March / April – give us a call.

and finally . . . a price rise from Rega

Our best selling turntable, the Planar 3RS is going up in price by £100 from 1st March.

There was barely any notice of this change, so, with our beloved customers in mind, we’ve ordered in a few examples at the original £999 price. Available while stocks last.
