With June 15th 2020 being the date we can reopen for business, we thought it would make sense to share our plan for a safe resumption.
First of all, we are closed Mondays, so we will be reopening on June 16th.
We will need to control the number of visitors on site at any time. To do this, we will operate by appointment only and ask that a maximum of two visitors come per booking. Please, no young children either, it would be too risky.
We will clean and disinfect all surfaces regularly and disinfect soft furnishings and items with which the public will come into contact. On top of that, we have ordered quite a few cotton sheets to allow for a freshly laundered covering on the sofas in the dem rooms for each visitor or pair of visitors.
I gather that silk would have been preferable . . . cotton will just have to suffice 🙂
We have an electronic non-contact temperature gauge and we really need to make use of it. We would appreciate your agreement to us checking your temperature on arrival. At the very least, it’ll help us feel superior.
We have washing facilities adjacent to the entrance door and, in addition, we will have alcohol based hand sanitiser freely available.
Since we will potentially be in enclosed spaces for demonstrations where physical distancing is not possible, we request that customers wear masks and we will reciprocate by doing the same.
Disposable gloves will be used by us and made available to you to allow non-direct contact control of iPads etc.
For those who remain uneasy about entering a building at all, we will continue to support non-contact deliveries of items for home trial.
Finally, we would like to thank all the lovely customers who have kept us open and bubbling along surprisingly well through this bizarre time.
