Description

Poly is a portable music streamer/player that combines with Mojo to wirelessly stream from connected devices and playback from its Micro SD, all with smartphone control. Poly is a revolutionary music streamer, the first of its kind in the world. When partnered with Mojo, it enables music streamed from a range of wirelessly connected devices to be enjoyed in the best possible sound quality, whether at home or on the go. Poly is also a music player: its unlimited-capacity Micro SD card slot can house huge libraries and liberate storage on smart devices. Full smartphone control using everyday apps enables effortless music playback whether streaming or playing music from the Micro SD.

Poly directly connects to Mojo’s award-winning audio processing (DAC) technology dramatically improving the audio quality of streamed music.  Its advanced design enables everyday devices, including Android and Apple smartphones/tablets, to become portable ‘hi-fi-quality’ digital audio players: the smartphone becomes the controller, with Poly and Mojo doing the high-level audio processing. Poly can also be used with computers and laptops, plus it can access networked audio stored on NAS drives using popular DLNA apps. Playback is via Mojo’s twin headphone outputs, plus home and in-car audio systems with auxiliary (AUX) inputs can also benefit from improved sound quality.

Poly connects to Wi-Fi networks, including mobile hotspots when on the go, and remembers multiple networks with its auto-connect functionality. It also benefits from Bluetooth 4.1, AirPlay and DLNA connectivity, offering uninterrupted music streaming when transitioning from indoors to outdoors. Poly also features its own hotspot mode, enabling a connection where devices, networks or countries do not facilitate tethering. Its rechargeable LiPo batteries offer up to nine hours of playback from a four-hour charge using the device’s fast-charging USB circuit; both Poly and Mojo can be charged simultaneously.

Poly is high-resolution audio-compatible, with support for the latest studio-quality files; PCM data up to 768kHz resolution and DSD64 to DSD256 (Quad-DSD). Supported file types include ACC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, OGG VORBIS, ALAC, WMA and MP3.

Poly FAQ’s:

Q: Poly is not connecting to a new Wi-Fi network after initial set up

A: Upon initial setup Poly must be assigned a new name in order to connect to a network. Please navigate to access point mode and rename Poly.

Q: Poly will not disconnect from Bluetooth and reconnect to a stored Wi-Fi network

A: Poly prioritises a Bluetooth connection for ease of use. In order to allow Poly to enter Wi-Fi playback please disengage Bluetooth on the transmitting device.

Q: When playing back high-resolution tracks via AirPlay Mojo shows a red 44.1kHz sample rate (red) indicator

A: AirPlay is natively limited to transmitting 16bit 44kHz audio. If you wish to playback high resolution files please use DLNA or Roon.

Q: Poly will not disconnect from my Wi-Fi network when on charge

A: During charging, Poly’s Wi-Fi network remains active so that it can run a fixed system without having to wait to reconnect back to a network when Mojo is switched back on.

Q: After streaming via DLNA I am unable to stream via AirPlay

A: Please fully close the DLNA app and wait ten seconds before attempting to connect via AirPlay. If problems persist, within the DLNA app, deselect Poly as the networked audio output and then quit the application.

Q: After streaming via AirPlay I am unable to steam via DLNA

A: Please fully close the AirPlay append wait ten seconds before attempting to connect via DLNA. If problems persist, within the app used for AirPlay playback, deselect Poly as the AirPlay audio output and then quit the application.

Q: I am having difficulty seeing Poly as an end point on Roon

A: Please reenter access point mode, via the configuration button. Within the Poly settings portal please make sure that Roon is selected as the play mode. If problems persist please ensure that Poly is connected to the same network as the networked device.

Q: Poly is not connecting to my Android device

A: Some names can cause a problem for connectivity. Please rename your Poly and your Android device name and retry the setup procedure.

Q: After connecting to Poly’s unsecured Wi-Fi network for configuration, I am unable to access the configuration page.

A: Generally the setup portal should automatically appear, however if this does not occur please open a browser window and input the address poly.audio

Q: I cannot locate the GoFigure configuration app on the App Store or Google Play store

A: GoFigure is currently in development and is coming soon. We will make an official announcement via email and Social Media when GoFigure is available for your device.

Q: Will I be able to store my Tidal offline content on Poly’s Micro SD card

A: Due to Tidal’s current limitations this is not possible.
