Dynaudio Special 40
An excellent two owner (non-smoking) pair of the lovely Dynaudio Special 40 loudspeakers. These were supplied to us by Dynaudio on 23/09/2019. Warranty runs for 8 years from when they were first sold (5/2/20)
Condition is superb with no significant marks or scratches, other than some light marks on the undersides where they have been placed on stands and, in this case, for photography.
This finish is from the last limited edition range and, as you can see, these are in the grey tinted birch veneer. Unusually, this is cut from birch plywood before being stained and lacquered to a high gloss. This is a striking yet subtle finish with an element of wood colour and shimmer. Once mixed with reflections of surrounding colours it comes to life. Photographs don’t really do it justice.
These come in the original packaging with tweeter protectors, manuals, foam bungs and grilles. Serial numbers are 04070007 + 04070008
