Description
MusicWorks Reflex Ultra G5
The Reflex Ultra G3 mains block, particularly with the AcouPlex base upgrade, has been a big deal with the chattering classes on the Naim Forum over the years.
A G4 block followed but a combination of us not being allowed to talk about it online and product designer Larry Ogden not being able to stop tweaking the bloody thing led to the various iterations of it becoming something akin to cult objects.
A few things have happened:
Larry has finally settled on a team who can build his designs in the required quantities to the required quality.
He’s refined the G3 into G3 Plus and replaced G4 with the new, somewhat heroic, G5.
Now, with supply being reasonably free-flowing, we can actually offer this to buy online. Please bear in mind that these are still hand-built in relatively small quantities.
We have Both G3 and G5 on demonstration in Trimley and can offer on a sale or return basis to this further away. Terms are quite simple. 14 days to make your mind up. Providing it’s returned to us in the same condition in which it arrived, we will refund in full.
The G5 “brings the ultimate isolation properties of AcouPlexTM to the ReFlex Block design.

Everything we know about silencing environmental noise has been thrown at this new version of the ReFlex mains block. The results are very apparent and musically profound.
The top-of-the-range ReFlex Ultra G5 builds on over 10 years of research into improved power sockets and the use of unique materials to achieve ultimate vibration isolation. The use of our own specially-developed AcouPlexTM layers throughout the chassis is reserved for this very special flagship model and provides even further improvements to dynamic range, musical texture and coherence. Additional features include uprated internal connections & conductors, specially selected power sockets complete with de-coupling spacers, optimised star earth path, and the use of non-metal fixings throughout. PEEK components have been incorporated to provide both structural integrity and vibration isolation.” |
