First in Rega’s new wave of amplification, the Brio R, captured many hearts and became the epitome of the affordable audiophile amplifier. The replacement, now just called ‘Brio’ was launched at the turn of 2017.
It shares the half width casework size but, for now at least is no longer a visual match for DAC-R, Apollo R CD and Aria phono stage, so the Brio takes up very little rack space. As the physical weight testifies, though, it’s a properly specified amplifier with 73 w pr channel into 4 ohms and a good quality MM pho stage too.
More to the point, it sounds excellent and is a useful, if incremental, upgrade over the preceding Brio-R.
We have it in stock and on demonstration.
