Signals is an established ‘bricks and morter’ retail business with almost three decades of trading behind us. We aim to offer unbiased service before, during and after purchases. Predominately, this relates to face to face transactions but also to some on-line purchases. We are more than willing to discuss your requirements via telephone or email.
Everything that we sell is guaranteed. The various manufacturers most commonly offer periods of two to five years. Used or ex dem items from us generally have a 12 month warranty period and this will be noted on the invoice. Some older used items carry a more basic 3 month level of cover. The listings should make this clear.
Mail order deliveries : We generally use FedEx or DPD for UK shipments and DPD, TNT, FedEx or UPS for overseas.
UK mainland shipments are sent next day with arrival by 1800 hrs. Highland and Island delivery times are longer and will incur additional costs. Please discuss with us in advance.
Export shipments, are not available by shopping cart and only arranged via email / telephone discussion, are usually undertaken by DPD. Transit times are between 2 and 4 days.
Because of the additional cost and complexity of arranging returns across customs boundaries, we are aiming to restrict our activities to the UK. Email conversations are best.
Refund / Cancellation: Where possible, we encourage you to try before you buy. Talk to us!
If you wish to return a stock item purchased from Signals then you have 14 working days to decide to do so. Please advise by telephone or email if this is happening. You then have an additional 14 days to get the goods back to us.
The returned goods must be in a saleable state and any goods or accessories that accompany the returned product must also come back to us.
The goods should also be returned with their original box, packing and accessories. Wherever possible, please protect the outer packaging. Packaging can degrade very quickly.
If the return is due to missing or faulty parts then we will offer a full refund or replacement provided we are aware of this within 10 working days.
Any refund, which is due to a fault or other defect, will include a refund of the applicable delivery charge.

As mentioned above, we are primarily a ‘face to face’ business and would sooner avoid potential problems by offering help and advice from an early stage. Our office is manned Tuesday to Saturday 09:30 – 18:00.
Out of hours emails are often responded to.
