Lyra

Lyra was one of the first brands that I sought out when I started Signals back in 1993. Despite quite a few model changes over this time they remain very much our sort of cartridge. Open, uncoloured, dynamic. Just plain musical. Our slightly more recent discovery of Nottingham Analogue turntables and arms gave us fresh enthusiasm for analogue replay and the new range of Lyra cartridges dovetail wonderfully with Nottingham turntables and Naim electronics. Over the years we’ve learned that they work very well with Linn, Rega, SME and Vertere.
