Description
Linn 150
With Linn’s heritage, we probably ought not be surprised by how capable and appealing the new 119 + 150 loudspeakers are. But, actually, we were 🙂
These, along with the new 119 stand-mounts, are a breath of fresh air.
With performance exceeding realistic expectation, sensible pricing and excellent (UK) construction and finishing, these should make a lot of friends.
Optional finishes are oak and Walnut real wood veneer, satin black and white.
We have opted for the natural wood options for the demonstration examples.

Passive floorstanding loudspeaker
From £5,500
With 150, the goal was to create a fundamentally entertaining loudspeaker, but one with refinement, sophistication and neutrality, so that it would play any source material equally well – and equally enjoyably.
150 is fitted with premium drive units, delivering excellent linear performance and excursion capability. Drawing from what we learned during development of our flagship 360 loudspeakers, drive units are mounted at the very front of the baffle, with no grille, to minimise occlusion and improve excursion.
Component quality is high throughout. The lower-order passive crossover in the Linn 150 is designed for signal purity and, as a result, lends the speaker speed and dynamism.
Inspired by our flagship 360 loudspeaker is a magnet-mounted trim piece, featuring fine concentric grooves redolent of the surface of a vinyl record and an electro-formed Linn logo which serves as a tweeter guard.
Exakt
By virtue of 150’s 3-way drive unit layout, it is now easier and more attainable than ever to upgrade to the extraordinary performance of Linn’s proprietary Exakt technology. 150 can be converted to Exakt in a matter of minutes, whilst all requisite amplification, DAC modules and the Exakt digital crossover can be contained within a Selekt DSM. Just add speaker cable!
