Naim 555 DR PS power supply, this one shipped to us from Naim on 28 September 2015. It’s had one owner from new. Unconvinced of the merits of the brushed alloy ‘reference casework, our customer opted instead for the ‘poverty spec’ classic painted sleeve that matched his, then, 252 and supercap.
We’ve carefully listened to this against a 2024 ‘white logo’ 555 DR PS and can say with confidence that this is in very fine sonic fettle. Happy to demonstrate.

Naim 555 DR PS is supplied in the original packaging with ‘white plug’ Naim mains lead, manual and, well, that’s it! The relevant burndy leads come with the source component. Free UK Mainland delivery.
It’s a spectacular match for Naim CD 555
Our 12 month warranty applies. Despite what is often claimed on ebay listings, ex demonstration units are not eligible for Naim’s 5 year cover.
555DR is a requirement for ND 555 and CD555 and a fantastic upgrade for NDX2, NAC-N 272 as well as NDS, CDX2, CDS3 etc. For these non-555 units, you need to factor in an XPS burndy too.
